Fashion Buzzzzzzzzz

On the eve of a winter storm all I can say is, I cannot wait for SPRING!!! Everything I've read says turquoise is the color for spring, but I think this color combo is just as FRESH. Black & white with a punch of yellow is a sophisticated update to the classic black and white combination that everyone already has in their closet! If you are one of those people who think they can't wear yellow, start off small. Invest in a yellow tote or clutch, necklace or a great pair of ballet flats.

Perfect with a pair of gold sandals
My favorite look by far- this skirt goes with everything!

Hope this warms you up. Happy shopping!!!!

Cookie Monster

You will see a variety of recipes posted here; all have been adapted to be gluten free. My husband was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about a year ago so we have been forced to modify our diets, which hasn't necessarily been a bad thing. This is a great peanut butter cookie recipe that is easy and delicious. I promise you won't even notice the missing flour. I added semi-sweet chocolate chips to this batch but you can certainly do with out.

Recipe:
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg

Cream together peanut butter and sugar. You can use a stand mixer or a hand mixer.

Add baking powder and egg and, in this case chocolate chips, until well blended.

Roll into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 11-13 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Enjoy!!!!

P.S. We are almost done with the chalkboard wall. It took a couple more coats of magnetic primer then originally predicted.

Newest Addition

This is my very first post as I am new to the blogging world. I think it is appropriate to introduce the little man that this blog is named after.... Beckett. He is my pride and joy and I can't stop taking pictures of him. I have a Nikon D3000 camera which is so user friendly and takes GREAT photos.
Here he is at 2 1/2 weeks old... big yawn and a big smile!

I promise I won't be one of those Moms that only posts pics of their little one but I just couldn't resist for my first post!
